PreCure Ending Theme Compilation Album Delayed

The magical girl mega-franchise Precure will debut its 14th installment, Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode next year after the currently airing Mahō Tsukai Precure! wraps up. To celebrate the journey, Sony Music and Marvelous planned to release a compilation album of all the franchise's ending themes so far, but those plans were dashed nearly as quickly as they were announced.
The Precure Ending Theme Collection 2004-2016 is a two-disc set of 25 tracks. The album was announced on Monday and advertised for release on December 21, but Marvelous issued a statement on Wednesday saying the release is postponed temporarily due to "production circumstances." A preview video of the songs also went up on Wednesday but was taken down. Marvelous' product pages still list a December 21 release date.
The limited edition version bundles a DVD of credit-free ending sequences from the series. It's 4,000 yen (US$34) while the standard edition costs 3,200 yen (US$27).
