Los Angeles, Calif., February 26, 2026 - TMS Entertainment's BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai premiered today on Netflix! To commemorate this monumental release, TMS Entertainment has released a creditless version of the opening animation, set to “FURUBOKO” by WANIMA.

“I grew up reading and watching BAKI from a young age, captivated by its world beyond common sense and its many iconic scenes, often reenacting them with my friends,” said WANIMA. “For the Musashi Miyamoto arc, I wrote this song by overlapping the idea that ‘one's way of life itself is a battle’ with the feeling of continuing to stand up, even after being completely beaten down. I'm truly happy and grateful to be involved in this work.”
The opening serves as a celebration of the BAKI franchise to date, featuring dynamic depictions of some of the anime's most iconic bouts, including “The Biggest Father-Son Fight in History.” It also teases the high-stakes intensity ahead in the latest season of BAKI, with the legendary swordsman Musashi Miyamoto taking center stage. As the stakes escalate and an unexpected new challenger enters the arena, BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai promises to captivate longtime fans while offering a phenomenal entry point for new audiences.

Synopsis:
