Best Commercial Film (Applied Animation) at the 11th Holland Animation Film Festival
A jury of Japanese animators, German directors, and the creator of Spongebob SquarePants has awarded a Production I.G commercial at the 11th Holland Animation Film Festival.
Kirin Lemon Black: Monster Blacks Fights Back was deemed Best Commercial Film award in the Applied Animation category. A statement from the jury said the award was given "for the pure energy shown in an advanced anime style."
Katsuhito Ishii, the character designer in Kill Bill: Volume 1's animation segment, directed the commercial.
