Minoru Yamaoka (Wakako-zake, Zo Zo Zombie, Zo Zo Zo Zombie-kun) directed the anime at Jumondo. Fumihiko Shimo (Date A Live IV, Date A Live V, Full Metal Panic!) oversaw the series scripts, Hitomi Kaiho (key animator for Fairy Tail, Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic) and Lo Ho Kim (chief animation director for Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer) designed the characters for animation, and Kana Utatane (Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, Nights with a Cat) composed the music.

Keitaro Motonaga (Date A Live, Getbackers) directed the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab. Takamitsu Kouno (Utawarerumono: The False Faces, Absolute Duo) was in charge of the series scripts, and Hiromi Kato (Goblin Slayer, Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East designed the characters. Miki Sakurai (I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss), Shu Kanematsu (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!), and Hanae Nakamura (The Quintessential Quintuplets composed the music.
Kyoruhashi launched the ongoing manga in Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Garden magazine in April 2019. The manga also runs on the Manga Doa, MAGComi, and pixiv Comic websites.
