From the press release:

"In a secret world hidden beneath the floorboards, tiny people called Borrowers live out of sight of humans. But when brave Arrietty is out gathering supplies, she is discovered by Sho, a human boy, and they begin to form a friendship that blossoms into a heartwarming adventure.

"Arrietty is a gorgeous and adventure-filled adaptation of Mary Norton's “The Borrowers,” one of the most beloved children's books of all time, directed by Academy Award®-nominee Hiromasa Yonebayashi based on a screenplay by Hayao Miyazaki, who also worked on project planning for the film, and Keiko Niwa."

Before the release of Arriety, GKIDS is releasing Yoshifumi Kondō's 1995 Studio Ghibli film Whisper of the Heart, on IMAX screens from Wednesday September 16, with a wider cinema release from Friday September 18. It will be released in both English-dubbed and subtitled versions. As with Arrietty, screenings of the film are listed at https://www.gkids.co.uk/tickets/.
