Is It Worth Reading?

Reading Double Addiction made me feel like I was watching a comic version of those soap operas that my mom loves so much. You know, the ones where a mature woman finds herself stuck between two men who hold a deep possessive desire for her, but she gets swept up in the pleasure of everything so easily that she ends up getting double teamed between the two? At least that's how I assumed those soap operas end because I don't watch them.

I'm mostly kidding but there is an addictive quality to…Double Addiction, which is probably fitting. The story is very simple, as we have a woman who is more or less addicted to the idea of being with one man while being in a semi-relationship with another. I do end up feeling more badly for one of the guys than the other, but considering that everyone's answer to any problematic situation in these chapters is to just give in to the horny beast, I don't think you're supposed to take things as seriously as you might think if this was happening in real life.

No, the emphasis in these chapters is definitely more on the sex than on the actual story and to the book's credit, these are probably some of the best sex scenes that I have read for this guide. The dialogue is spicy, the sex scenes feel intense with an emphasis on rough play and I'm a sucker for some good possession dialogue. I wish the dicks were drawn a bit better because they are by far the least detailed part on these male bodies and they look like sausages. But aside from that, I was genuinely drawn into everything. I'm not really sure where everything is going to end up but at the very least this is an enjoyable self-aware ride that you might want to strap yourself into if you were into the idea of fantasizing to incredibly successful and hot men fighting over you using rough sex.
