The cast members include:
Yūsuke Kobayashi as Yūhi Takamiya
Yū Sasahara as Nano
Sōta Yokote (To Your Eternity season 3) is directing the anime at Studio Massket. Gigaemon Echikawa (Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden, A Galaxy Next Door, A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai) is both writing and supervising the series' scripts. Yoshihiro Watanabe (Haganai, Overflow, Adam's Sweet Agony) is designing the characters. Hayato Matsumura is composing the music. Lantis is in charge of music production, and SHOCHIKU anime is presenting the anime.
The manga centers on Yūhi Takamiya, a sickly boy who has been absent from school since his first day of high school. In his loneliness, he one day cries out, "I want friends!" in the middle of his room. As if in response, an alien from the planet Pokotsun named Nano appears before him, making her aggressive sales pitches to various ridiculous products, including a being designated as the most dangerous form of life in the galaxy, all of which will make Yūhi's life just a little bit more stimulating.
Sawada launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in September 2024. Kodansha will publish the manga's 10th compiled book volume on Friday.
