Plot Summary: A young boy named Tetsuro Hoshino along with his mother both dream of getting themselves machine bodies that can last for 1000 years. This dream went interrupted when Tetsuro’s mother was killed by Count Mecha & his human hunters. Tetsuro managed to escape the clutches of Count Mecha and ends up traveling through a snowstorm which led him to collapse onto the ground from exhaustion. Tetsuro believed he was a goner, that is up until he was saved by a mysterious, tall, slender, beautiful blonde woman dressed in black clothing. The woman whose name is Maetel offers Tetsuro an opportunity for him to gain a mechanical body for free. The place that offers mechanical bodies for free is on another planet. In order for Tetsuro to travel to this planet is by accompanying Maetel on a galaxy train known as the Galaxy Express 999.
