Manga Lounge, Parents Panel at Asian Art Museum May 13

The Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, California is hosting a manga lounge and a manga/anime panel for parents on Sunday, May 13. As part of the museum's Family Festival Spring 2007, Viz Media co-presents a manga lounge with manga, collectibles, and interactive manga-drawing activities from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Author Gilles Poitras (The Anime Companion, Anime Essentials) will also host "How to View Manga and Anime with Your Kids," a panel for parents interested but uninitiated in Japan's cultural exports, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
