Digital Manga to Publish Otaku Travel Guide

Digital Manga Publishing will release the Essential Otaku Guide, a non-fiction "whirlwind tour" of various sites and places that are important in Japanese popular culture on August 15. Based on the anime and manga tours of Japan that were pioneered by Pop Japan Travel, this English book will include maps and special features designed to help travelers. Pop Japan Travel: Essential Otaku Guide will contain 200 pages in a smaller-than-usual 5x7 format. Stone Bridge Press published Cruising the Anime City, an otaku guide to Tokyo, in 2005.
