Kururin Paradise was never previously released in West

Nintendo announced that it has added the Monster Rancher Advance, Metal Slug Advance, and Kururin Paradise games on the "Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Classics" app for the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership on Nintendo Switch 2 on Wednesday. This marks the first Western release for the previously Japan-only Kururin Paradise game. The company streamed a trailer:

Eighting and Nintendo's Kururin Paradise originally launched for GBA in Japan in December 2002. The game is a sequel to Kuru Kuru Kururin, which originally got releases in Japan and Europe in 2001, but not in North America. Kuru Kuru Kururin eventually got releases in North America through the Wii U Virtual Console in 2016 and the "Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Classics" app in 2023.

Monster Rancher Advance (Monster Farm Advance) debuted for GBA in 2001. The Monster Rancher Advance 2 sequel game launched for GBA in 2002.

The first game in the Monster Rancher (Monster Farm) series debuted for PlayStation in 1997. The game tasks players with raising a variety of monsters to fight in tournaments, with players deciding how to raise the monster, which then determines how the monsters fight. A notable feature of many games in the series is the ability to generate a random monster dependent upon discs that players provide for the game to read. Monster Rancher 2 initially debuted for PlayStation in Japan in February 1999. The game then launched in North America in August 1999 and in Europe in October 2000.

The games inspired a 73-episode television anime series that ran from 1999 to 2001.

SNK released Metal Slug Advance for GBA in 2004.

The METAL SLUG ULTIMATE COLLECTION game will launch for Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in 2027.
