Dive Into Summer With New Themed MapleStory: Idle RPG Update

New Themed Content Includes Splashy Events and Daily Missions, Beach-Inspired Mini-Games and Rewards, New Guild Raid and More

Seoul - June 11, 2026 - NEXON's MapleStory: Idle RPG, a mobile idle RPG co-developed with Able Games, has announced a summer-themed update featuring a slew of attendance events, daily missions and mini-game content for players to enjoy. Additionally, the update features a brand new growth system, a new guild raid challenge and more.

Infused with the nostalgia of the MapleStory series, MapleStory: Idle RPG brings the beloved MapleStory universe alive through a brand-new idle RPG adventure. Players can experience the classic MapleStory charm through accessible auto-battle features that allow characters to progress even while offline. With diverse gear collection, skill mastery, and extensive character customization, fans can enjoy casual yet rewarding gameplay.

In the new MapleStory: Idle RPG summertime update, players can experience themed events, missions and mini-games while also receiving valuable rewards that include:

*Summertime Attendance Events and Missions: A variety of attendance events are available for players to enjoy.

*“Summertime 10-Day Attendance” Event – This login event rewards participating players with “Summer Treasure Key” and “Beach Aura.”
*“Pop! Water Balloon” Daily Mission – This mission yields various themed growth materials, including “Summertime Coin,” once completed. Players can spend earned “Summertime Coin” for materials in the update's “Summertime Shop.”
*“Summertime Treasure Hunt!” Event – In this event, players must acquire the “Summer Treasure Key” allowing them to open the “Summer Treasure Chest,” which yields jewels that can be exchanged for summertime-themed growth materials and costumes. Depending on the cumulative amount of chests opened, players can earn a “Summertime Booster,” which increases final damage in Chapter Hunt alongside Meso Drop and EXP gain.

*New Guild Raid – A new Guild Raid will be available to players on June 12th at 8pm, challenging up to eight guild members from the same guild to form a party and take on raid boss Horntail. Only players who have completed the Hard difficulty level of the Horntail boss raid will be able to access the guild raid content. Upon successful completion, rewards will be distributed based on the boss's remaining HP, with additional guild-wide rewards according to the regional guild's ranking also being granted.

*“Hero's Journey” Growth System – With this update, a new growth system “Hero's Journey,” will be unlocked for players once stage 20 -10 have been completed. The new system enables players to unlock Boss Cards every time they successfully clear a Chapter Boss, each card granting unique special options and various stats. These stats can be changed via the “Journey Token,” which can be obtained through auto hunt rewards or by opening the “Journey Chest” once a week.

*4v4 PvP Shooting Mini Game – The “Ruler of the Beach” mini-game will also be introduced, where players can earn summertime and beach-themed rewards, including “Summer Treasure Key,” “Summertime Coin,” and “Beach Aura” based on their wins and participation count. A special medal will be awarded to players upon reaching fifteen mini-game victories.
