Omoinotake Announces Release Dates for Hana-Kimi Theme Songs 'FLASHBULB' and 'Hanataba'
Tokyo, Japan – Japanese piano trio Omoinotake has announced the release dates and jacket artwork for its new digital singles “FLASHBULB” and “Hanataba” (“Bouquet”), both featured as theme songs for Season 2 of the TV anime Hana Zakari no Kimi-tachi e.
“FLASHBULB” will be released digitally on July 2, while “Hanataba” follows on July 22.
Written specifically as the opening theme for the anime, “FLASHBULB” captures the fleeting brilliance of youth that shines like a flash of light. Set against an energetic soundscape, the song portrays the emotions and everyday moments that become radiant through the presence of a special someone.
The ending theme, “Hanataba,” is a mid-tempo track that depicts a secret love growing stronger day by day, as well as the inner conflict of being unable to confess those feelings in order to preserve a cherished friendship.
Season 2 of Hana Zakari no Kimi-tachi e will begin airing on July 1.
The piano trio continues its rapid rise following the massive success of “Ikuokukonen,” the band's 2024 hit song featured as the theme for the Japanese drama Eye Love You. The track surpassed 600 million cumulative streams and became one of Japan's standout love songs of the year. Building on that momentum, Omoinotake also sold out its first-ever performance at the legendary Nippon Budokan venue in Tokyo, on March 15, 2026.
Looking ahead, Omoinotake is set to release its major-label third album this autumn. In support of the album, the band will embark on a 14-date hall tour across Japan and overseas, including performances in three international cities. Advance ticket sales for the domestic dates are currently available through major ticketing agencies, with further album details to be announced at a later date.

About Omoinotake
Omoinotake is a Japanese piano trio from Shimane Prefecture, formed in Tokyo in 2012 by junior high school classmates Leo Fujii / Leo (Vocals & Keyboards), Tomoaki Fukushima / Emoaki (Bass), and Hironoshin Tomita / Drage (Drums). Known for their delicate yet deeply emotional vocals and lyrics, the band creates a distinctive groove they describe as music that makes listeners “dance and cry,” earning support from a wide range of audiences.
In 2020, their song “Moratorium” gained attention after being selected as a theme song for an animated feature film. Even before their major-label debut, Omoinotake had already built a strong following, surpassing 100,000 subscribers on YouTube through years of independent activity and street performances centered in Tokyo's Shibuya district.
The band made their major-label debut with Sony Music Labels in November 2021 with an EP featuring “EVERBLUE” the opening theme for the TV anime Blue Period. In 2022, “Shin-on” was chosen as the theme song for the film Cherry Magic THE MOVIE. They released their first major album “Ammolite” in September 2023, followed by a nationwide Zepp tour.
Their 2024 single “Ikuokukonen” became a massive hit, topping streaming charts and surpassing 600 million total streams. On January 29, 2025, the trio released its second major album Pieces. The band later launched the nationwide Omoinotake ONE MAN TOUR 2012–2025 “Shinka”, culminating in their first-ever solo concert at the iconic Nippon Budokan in March 2026, which sold out completely.
