Kadokawa to Host OnSITE Portfolio Review at Manga Barcelona 2026 in Spain
~ Manga Editors Meet Creators Worldwide
to Provide In-Person Feedback on Their Works ~
Tokyo, JP – KADOKAWA CORPORATION will exhibit at Manga Barcelona 2026, taking place in Barcelona, Spain from Saturday, December 5th to Tuesday, December 8th, 2026. At the event, the company will hold a manga portfolio review workshop, OnSITE Portfolio Review (KADOKAWA World Manga Editorial Team).
OnSITE Portfolio Review is a manga workshop where KADOKAWA manga editors travel to locations around the world to review works submitted by creators, provide in-person feedback, and answer questions regarding the Japanese manga market. It is part of KADOKAWA WORLD MANGA ATELIER, an initiative that supports manga creators outside Japan. The workshop kicked off at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles, U.S., in July 2026, followed by a booth at Indonesia's comic event Comic Paradise on October 17th -18th, and will also be held in Taiwan in November. At the OnSITE Portfolio Review in Spain, creators can bring their manga works for review in Spanish, English, or Japanese.
In addition to OnSITE Portfolio Review, the booth will host a talk session featuring the chief editor of KADOKAWA's World Manga Editorial Team on the final day of the event, Tuesday, December 8th. The session will introduce the KADOKAWA WORLD MANGA CONTEST and explain key points of manga creation from an editor's perspective.
