of Gensou Narratograph

The tabletop roleplaying game based on Touhou Project is coming to

Lionwing Publishing is bringing Gensou Narratograph: The Roleplaying Game Based on
Touhou to English-speaking players. Originally published in Japanese by Kadokawa in
2023, the game lets players take the roles of familiar residents of Gensokyo and create
their own stories in Touhou's world of humans, yokai, and magic.

Designed for one to four players and one Game Master, Gensou Narratograph
combines cozy slice-of-life storytelling with Danmaku Duels inspired by the franchise's
bullet-hell confrontations. Players can portray Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, and
other established characters using a few six-sided dice and their imagination.

The rulebook includes:
● 30 characters from Touhou Project
● A newly drawn map featuring 21 locales, with flavor text written by Touhou
creator ZUN
● New character artwork
● A 100-page replay featuring ZUN himself, presenting an actual play session in
manuscript form

The English release will offer three editions; two hardcovers available exclusively during
the upcoming ordering window and a softcover planned for retail. One hardcover edition
will feature painted edges.
