Touhou Project Franchise Gets New Manga

The December issue of Kadokawa's Comp Ace magazine revealed on Saturday that ZUN and artist Mizutaki will debut a new manga in ZUN's Touhou Project franchise titled Touhou Suichōka: Lotus Eater-tachi no Suisei in the magazine's next issue on November 26.
Aya Azuma ended the Touhou Ibarakasen: Wild and Horned Hermit manga (pictured at right) in Ichijinsha's Febri magazine in June.
Team Shanghai Alice released the first game in the series, Touhou: Highly Responsive to Prayers, in 1995 on the PC-98 platform. Since then, the series has spawned other main games, multiple spin-offs, and many fan-made derivative works based on characters and stories from the series.
The 17th and most recent main game in the series, Touhou Kikeijū: Wily Beast and Weakest Creature, launched on Steam on September 10.
