The June issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine revealed on Friday that manga creator Nio Nakatani will launch a new manga this fall. The magazine did not reveal the manga's title, but previewed art from it. Nakatani also mentioned the announcement on her Bluesky account.

Nakatani launched the God Bless the Mistaken (Kami-sama ga Machigaeru) manga (seen right) in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh in October 2021, and ended it in November 2023. Kadokawa published the manga's fourth and final compiled book volume in January 2024. Yen Press licensed the manga and first released it as a digital simulpub in October 2021, and is also releasing the physical volumes.

Nakatani launched the Bloom Into You (Yagate Kimi ni Naru) yuri manga in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh in April 2015, and ended it in September 2019. Kadokawa also released a comic anthology for the series, as well as a series of side story novels by Hitoma Iruma. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in North America, and shipped the manga's eighth and final volume in August 2020. Seven Seas is also releasing Iruma's novel series, and is also releasing the anthology book.

The manga inspired an anime adaptation that premiered in October 2018. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime, and HIDIVE streamed the series with English subtitles as it aired in Japan. A stage play adaptation also debuted in May 2019.

Nakatani has also drawn many yuri one-shot manga, and has so far appeared in five of the Éclair yuri manga anthology books that Yen Press has published. Yen Press is also publishing Nakatani's earlier Farewell to My Alter (Sayonara Alter) manga.
