Comikey announced on Friday it has licensed Mato Kauta's The Wolf King’s Bride (Ōkami-Heika no Hanayome) manga. The company released the first five chapters digitally, and will add new chapters every Friday.
Comikey describes the story:
"If you leak this matter out to anyone, even by accident..."Yurin, the daughter of a low-level official, came into the royal palace after hearing about an amazing job with high pay. Unfortunately for her, that work entailed playing the role of a bride for the cold and ruthless Wolf King, Haku Reisho. After starting her work within the rear palace that's rife with conspiracy, Yurin learned of His Majesty's secret. What will become of her fate?!
Comikey had announced in August it will release several shōjo manga titles from Hakusensha's catalogue in English digitally, and teased an image that had featured the manga.
Kauta serialized the manga in Hakusensha's LaLa magazine from 2009 to 2018, and the manga has 19 volumes. The manga has not previously had an English release.
