Crunchyroll Launches Xbox One App, Changes Exclusive Titles' Availability for Free Users

Online streaming service Crunchyroll launched an app on the Xbox One console for both free and premium users on Tuesday. The free stream will include ads, just as it does on the Crunchyroll website. Premium users can stream episodes in high-definition as they air in Japan without advertisements.
Crunchyroll is also changing the availability of titles that are exclusive to the streaming service. Exclusive content will be available to free members up to a maximum of one year after it airs, although premium members can still watch exclusive content as long as Crunchyroll maintains the license. Titles that are not exclusive to Crunchyroll will continue to be available on Crunchyroll for free (and premium) viewers indefinitely.
