Yowamushi Pedal Finally Gets An Official Bike Helmet

With all of the merchandise that's out for Yowamushi Pedal, it's a little unbelievable that it's taken this long for someone to make a helmet. Some of the characters have bike sponsors and have appeared in cycling catalogs, but a helmet seems like a good entryway for fans who don't have hundreds or thousands of dollars to drop on a new roadie.
Catlike's booth at this year's Cycle Mode International 2014 had a display for their Kompact helmets. Amongst them was a very familiar looking yellow and white helmet, featuring an illustration of Yowamushi Pedal climber Onoda Sakamichi. It's an apt collaboration, as the character wears a Kompact in the manga and anime.
The helmet will be released next year for 13,800 yen (about US$119).
