Blue Exorcist to Get Werewolf Card Game
posted on by Eric Stimson
The December issue of Jump Square, which will hit newsstands on November 4, will announce an upcoming Werewolf card game based on the manga/anime series Blue Exorcist. The cards will all be drawn by Kazue Katō, the manga artist, and the game will go on sale in December.
The magazine shows character sketches for the card game.
Werewolf, based on a popular party game, is a card game that assigns players to particular roles — "Villager," "Werewolf," "Doctor," "Fortune-teller," and so on. The werewolves kill the villagers, but otherwise blend in with them, forcing the villagers to guess which players are secret werewolves. Given Blue Exorcist's theme of humans possessed by demons, presumably its version will substitute roles from the story such as Exorcist and Demon.
