Funimation Holds Hurricane Harvey Relief Campaign

Funimation announced on Tuesday that it is holding a Hurricane Harvey relief campaign to support the victims of the hurricane in and around Texas, where the company is based.

The company donated US$10,000 to the relief efforts, and it is also matching contributions through the campaign up to US$25,000. The CrowdRise campaign page lists eight charities that people can choose to donate money to. As of the posting of this article, Funimation's campaign has raised US$26,216.

Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Texas on Friday. The hurricane has caused intense and unprecedented flooding in southeast Texas and nearby areas of the Gulf of Mexico.
