American video game developer Epic Games released the new season trailer for its massively popular game Fortnite Battle Royale this week. The video previews the new theme for the upcoming Fortnite Battle Royale “Treasure Hunters.” The video teases the One Piece characters Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and Buggy the Clown. Also featured are the Straw Hat Pirate's ship Going Merry and a pirate-themed Hatsune Miku. Epic Games also posted a new visual revealing Nico Robin and Ace.
Fortnite Battle Royale “Treasure Hunters” will launch on November 1.
Fortnite Battle Royale teased its collaboration with One Piece on Sunday. The six-second teaser showed Straw Hat Pirate's ship Going Merry breaking through the mist on a moonlit night.
Fortnite Battle Royale is no stranger to collaborations with anime properties, particularly of adaptations of Weekly Shonen Jump series. The game partnered with Black Clover for its annual Fortnitemares event in October 2026. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War saw a collaboration in December 2025. Both My Hero Academia and Dragon Ball joined the game in 2022. Naruto Shippūden was the first Weekly Shonen Jump series to join Fortnite Battle Royale with its collaboration in 2021.
Outside of Weekly Shonen Jump title collaborations, Fortnite Battle Royale collaborated with Cowboy Bebop in 2025 and Attack on Titan in 2023.
The Elbaph arc of the One Piece anime debuted in Japan on April 5. Crunchyroll streamed the arc. More episodes will premiere next year.
