TOKYO – Oct. 28, 2026 – FURYU CORPORATION, an esteemed Japanese video game developer and publisher, today launched ANOMALITH, the studio's very first survival horror shooter game on PlayStation 5®, PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch™ 2 for $49.99. Inspired by the recent ‘anomaly horror’ films and games that have thrilled audiences, ANOMALITH combines fast-paced and tense combat with survival horror nightmares that could only exist in a realm forgotten by logic and reality.

Spatial anomalies known as “Otherworlds” have appeared without warning. The government's Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office” has been unsuccessful in repelling the threat and determining its origin. Players take control of investigator Reona Minazuki, who has been awakened from a 10-year slumber inside an anomaly known as the “Sarcophagus” and acquired a keen sensitivity to the Otherworlds. Reona must rescue her lost friend, determine the origins of the Anomaly Zones and navigate the mystery of her new powers. Manage resources while fending off strange enemy creatures, upgrade and exploit 12 unique game-changing powers and customize your weapons and outfits with numerous possibilities and stat-altering functionality. Strange worlds including an apartment complex with inverted gravity, shopping streets that extend infinitely or a dark hall that seems to be writhing with a life of its own make each dive into the Anomaly Zones a dangerous one.

To commemorate the launch of ANOMALITH, FURYU has released a special commemorative illustration from character designer MON, known for their extremely unique artwork that blends the human body with dark fantasy elements. The illustration will be shared October 28 at 6pm PT/9pm ET on the official ANOMALITH X and published on the game's Steam page newsfeed.
