The official website for Yuki Kajiura's FictionJunction musical project revealed on Monday that she will hold a concert for the first time in Bangkok, Thailand and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this November. She will also perform in Shanghai and Guangzhou in China in the same month.

Kajiura is a veteran anime and game composer, known for her compositions frequently containing soaring yet complex string lines and interweaving melodic parts, operatic vocals, and atmospheric and ethereal mood. She is perhaps best known for her soundtracks in such anime as Noir, Le Portrait de Petit Cossette, Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Sword Art Online, Princess Principal, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and The Case Study of Vanitas.

Her work as composer of The Garden of Sinners anime OVA series in 2007 marked both her beginning as a frequent composer for anime adaptations of writer Kinoko Nasu's works, as well as her founding of the Kalafina music group, which was originally formed to perform theme songs for The Garden of Sinners. She eventually composed soundtracks for Fate/Zero, Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel, and The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note, all works based on Kinoko Nasu's written universe. She also exclusively composed all of Kalafina's songs, some of which were used in the above works.

Kalafina often works under her FictionJunction musical project name, which consists of her and a rotating list of common collaborating musicians, vocalists, and visual artists. Under the FictionJunction name, she has composed songs for such anime and franchises as .hack, Pandora Hearts, Okamikakushi - Masque of the Wolf, and more.

She once performed with vocalist Chiaki Ishikawa under the duo name See-Saw. The duo previously performed ending theme songs for both the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed television anime and the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny television anime. The duo reunited briefly to perform the ending theme song for the recent Mobile Suit Gundam Seed FREEDOM anime film.
