Details of Dan Da Dan S2 UK Home Editions Released

Will be available on July 27 in Alien and Yokai editions, plus an HMV exclusive edition

On its website, Anime Limited has announced it will release the second season of DAN DA DAN in multiple home editions on July 27. There will be two Collector's Editions. An "Alien Edition" will be exclusive to the AllTheAnime website. and is pictured right.

Extras in both the "Alien" and "Yokai" editions will include a 56-page booklet, containing character artwork; an interview with director Abel Góngora; a “cross-talk” interview between director Fūga Yamashiro and voice actors Shion Wakayama (Momo) and Natsuki Hanae (Okarun); and artwork including story boards, key animation and colour scripts. There will also be a key visual artcard with a glow in the dark finish, and stickers.

On-disc extras will include a “Meet the Filmmakers” feature, “Director Scene Breakdown” feature, a behind the scenes commentary by director Fūga Yamashiro, commemorative interviews, and audio commentaries on episodes 13, 18, 20 and 24.

HMV will have its own exclusive standard edition with a bonus O-card with exclusive artwork, pictured right (the HMV sticker is removable). There will also be a non-HMV standard edition. Both will have the on-disc extras listed above, but not the physical extras.
