12th Annual Japanese Animation, Film & Art Expo (JAFAX)
The 12th annual Japanese Animation, Film & Art Expo (JAFAX) will be held June 23 & 24 at Grand Valley State University, Allendale, Mich. (just west of Grand Rapids). Guests include voice actor Doug Smith (Goldenboy) and anime technical director Jan Scott Frazier (Genocyber, Panzer Dragoon). Other features include a costume show and DDR competition. No preregistration required. Admission and all events are free of charge. Attendance last year exceeded 2,500. This is Michigan's only anime con north of Detroit.
