LOS ANGELES, Calif., Dec. 5, 2024 – Bushiroad Games opened Steam® Store wishlisting for “Fullland of Water and Light,” the latest game adaption from the popular anime series “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?” also known as “DanMachi” among fans. The action RPG will be released on February 27th, 2025 for Nintendo Switch™ and PC via Steam®.

Taking place in the submerged city of Orario, this 2D side-scrolling action adventure follows protagonists Bell Cranel and Ais Wallenstein as they explore the mysterious hero's tale of “Fullland of Water and Light.” Written by the DanMachi series author Fujino Ōmori, the game features an original storyline with new characters designed by DanMachi illustrator kakage.

Game Overview:
Story
The game narrative is an original story written by DanMachi author, Fujino Ōmori. Bell and his group embark on an adventure in the sunken Orario to uncover the secrets depicted in the hero tale of “Fullland of Water and Light.” In addition to the main story, players can obtain “Scenario Points” during exploration to read sub-stories and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Battle
Control Bell and Ais to defeat monsters using magic and various sword attacks! By building up the “Super Special Move Gauge,” players can unleash the iconic “Argo Vesta” and “Lil Rafaga” techniques that have saved DanMachi heroes from danger throughout the series. By clearing stages, the synchronization level with the “Sword of Fullland” will increase, improving the status of Bell and Ais.
Assist
Join forces with long-time companions to battle monsters together. Their support is crucial for Bell and Ais – they rely on their synergy and teamwork to overcome challenges together.
Original Characters
Original characters designed by kakage, illustrator of “Argonaut” and “Astraea Record” from the “DanMachi Heroic Tales” series will be introduced in the game and drive the narrative forward.

About Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?
“Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?” also known as “DanMachi” among fans is a multimedia franchise based on the light novel of the same name by Fujino Ōmori, which has sold over 17 million copies domestically in Japan. The story is set in a massive city featuring a vast underground labyrinth (dungeon) and follows the adventures and growth of a young boy, Bell Cranel.
The first season of the anime aired in April 2015, followed by the second season in July 2019, the third season in October 2020, and the fourth season, titled “New Chapter: Labyrinth Arc,” in July 2022, and “Deep Chapter: Disaster Arc” in January 2023.
On November 4, 2023, during the 10th anniversary project event “Westa Party in Kamado's Hall,” the production of the fifth season was announced, with a broadcast planned for Fall 2024.
Additionally, there has been a wide range of developments, including the anime adaptation of the side story “Sword Oratoria” (2017) and the theatrical release of a completely new story written by Fujino Ōmori (2019).
