Smilegate Reveals Booth Details for Anime Expo 2026
Santa Monica, CA - June 11, 2026 - On Thursday the 11th, Smilegate (CEO Sung Joon Ho) announced detailed booth information for "Chaos Zero Nightmare" (CZN) and "MIRESI: Invisible Future" (MIRESI), both of which will be featured at Anime Expo 2026 (AX), North America's largest anime and pop culture convention, taking place this July in Los Angeles.
The information was revealed on Smilegate's dedicated AX brand page. First, the upcoming next-generation title MIRESI will host a booth in the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center for North American visitors. The MIRESI booth will feature its first-ever hands-on demo zone in North America, allowing visitors to experience the game directly. It will also include a four-sided LED experience zone, which drew strong attention at the global game shows such as TGS(Tokyo Game Show) and AGF(Anime X Game Festival). Inside the LED experience zone, visitors can enjoy special interactions with MIRESI characters, and upon completion, will receive a Polaroid-style collectible featuring the character they interacted with.
In addition, a "360° photo zone" will be available, allowing visitors to capture photos from every angle using a camera rig. A variety of on-site events with cosplay models are also planned. One featured attraction will be a turntable event inspired by the game's concept, where participants attempt to stop a rotating cosplay model at the perfect moment. Visitors will also have the opportunity to step onto the turntable themselves.
Participants in on-site events will receive AX-exclusive merchandise. By completing missions and collecting all "stamps," visitors will receive a PVC bag, and those who also participate in the game demo will be awarded a "Happi coat" featuring the MIRESI character "Itsuka."
A special panel session with players will also feature a "Thicc Character Drawing Show" by AD Hyung-seop Kim (Hyulla). Having previously worked on titles like "Destiny Child" and "NIKKE," Hyung-seop Kim is already widely recognized, and the session is expected to draw strong interest. The drawing show will take place on July 4 (Sat) at 8:45 PM in Panel Room 408AB. In addition to Hyung-seop Kim, special guest artists will join the session and create MIRESI characters in their own unique styles. Attendees of the panel will receive a limited-edition premium postcard as a special reward.
Chaos Zero Nightmare, which has been receiving strong support in North America, will host its booth in the South Hall Lobby of the Los Angeles Convention Center, where it will meet players. This marks its first offline event in North America since launch. The booth will feature activities including a "Dice Battle" event inspired by the game's concept, along with a photo zone. There will also be photo sessions with well-known cosplay models and developers, along with a developer autograph signing event.
In particular, players will receive trading card collectibles each time they participate in an event, and those who collect the full set will be awarded a special card. Players who complete the entire collection, including the special card, will be entered into a draw to win a 24K gold card. A trading event will also be held on-site, allowing players to exchange cards with one another.
Chaos Zero Nightmare will also host a panel session with players. The session will take place on July 3 (Fri) at 7:45 PM in Panel Room 403AB, featuring key developers including Kim Hyung Suk, Director at Super Creative, and Kihyun KANG, Development Lead. During the session, they will discuss the present and future of 2D anime-style games, as well as share the development story of Chaos Zero Nightmare. Attendees will receive a limited-edition card collectible.
Detailed information about each IP's booth activities and on-site events will be continuously shared via the brand page and official SNS channels. MIRESI has also released a new promotional video featuring its characters today.
Noju Lee, Director at Smilegate, stated, "We have created an immersive, theme-park-like space where booth design, on-site events, and merchandise come together to fully showcase the appeal of MIRESI and Chaos Zero Nightmare. In particular, we hope for your strong interest in the panel sessions, where we will offer unique and in-depth programs for direct engagement with attendees."
