Moon Ghost Coming to Steam
TOKYO, JAPAN – OCTOBER 23, 2026.
Shiravune is pleased to announce that Moon Ghost, developed by Purple Software, will be coming to Steam!
Moon Ghost is a sci-fi visual novel set in the year 2199, when scientific advances have made it possible for androids to perceive human souls, known as "ghosts." On Moonbase 13, a facility known as the Garden, gentle-hearted androids are tasked with helping these wandering souls resolve their regrets and lingering attachments.
Players follow Da'at, an android intelligence still undergoing its education, as it awakens at the Garden and begins its work helping ghosts find peace. Through encounters with troubled souls and fellow androids, Da'at discovers the bonds that can form between beings who experience the world in very different ways.
But beyond these heartfelt encounters lies a greater mystery: a bell tolling unnoticed, heralding the end of the world.
Featuring full Japanese voice acting, Moon Ghost tells a science-fiction story about compassion, unresolved regrets, and the connections between androids and human souls.

At long last, the march of science has allowed androids to observe the human soul — the "ghost."
Gentle-hearted androids have been given a role: to resolve the regrets and lingering attachments of ghosts, and so to save their souls.
Da'at, our protagonist, is an android intelligence still partway through its education. Awakening on Moonbase 13, the Garden, Da'at takes up that very work.
This is a story of the bonds formed between kind-hearted androids and ghosts with troubles of their own — and of the pursuit of a bell, tolling unnoticed, that will bring the world to its end.
