A human detective turned vampire hunter, she rocks Ko and Nazuna's world the minute she appears on-screen. With ties to Nazuna's forgotten past and mysterious connections to the larger world of vampires, Anko is a fitting antagonist who adds depth to this moody show.

7. The Stellar Voice Cast

As in any animated series or film, the characters are brought to life by the actors that voice them. The Japanese cast includes Sora Amamiya (Rent a Girlfriend) as Nazuna and Gen Satou (Dr. Stone) as Ko. The English dub cast includes Natalie Rial (Chained Soldier) as Nazuna and Gabriel Regojo (The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes) as Ko.

You might remember the absolute banger of an OP from Call of the Night Season 1, Daten, which was performed by the Japanese hip hop duo, Creepy Nuts. They've also performed other high profile anime OPs including the theme for Dan Da Dan. Fans of the band will not be disappointed that they are back with more high-energy tunes for Season 2.
