Sailor Moon Returns to Promote Chocola BB Sparkling Energy Drink

usagi Tsukino is back in a mixed animated and live-action commercial to promote her favorite energy drink brand. In the commercial, a rundown young woman gets "refreshed" after drinking Chocola BB Sparkling nutritional drink and transforms into Sailor Moon from Sailor Moon Crystal.

The collaborative commercial is celebrating usagi Tsukino's birthday on Friday and the Chocola brand's 65th anniversary. The company introduced office lady usagi in a campaign last year.
Staff organize a birthday celebration for usagi each year. This year is three-day screenings of the Sailor Moon R film with special guests. Staff announced on the first day that the Sailor Moon SuperS arc, also known as the "Dead Moon" arc, will be adapted into a two films directed by Sailor Moon Crystal: Season III director Chiaki Kon.
