Tokyopop Licenses Tokko Manga from GTO's Fujisawa

The ICv2 retail news source reports that Tokyopop will be publishing the three-volume Tokko manga by Tohru Fujisawa (GTO, Rose Hip Rose) starting this July. The 2004 manga focuses on a man who joins the Special Mobile Investigation Force to avenge his parents' violent deaths — deaths that may be part of a larger murder spree by inhuman creatures. Director Masashi Abe and the AIC studio animated Tokko into a 13-episode television series in 2006. Last year, Manga Entertainment released the anime version in North America, and America's Sci Fi Channel then aired the entire series.discuss this in the forum (4 posts) |
