The Mysterious Cities of Gold to Be Reissued on U.S. DVD

VCI to offer adventure show in October, after Virgil shipped a DVD set in 2009
North American video distributor VCI Entertainment will release the 1982 French/Japanese animated series The Mysterious Cities of Gold on DVD on October 2. The story followed a Spanish boy, an Incan girl, and a boy from the Galapagos Islands as they searched for the fabled Cities of Gold in South America. The set is listed as all-regions and in English.
Virgil Films and Entertainment released the first North American DVD set of the series in 2009, althought its release is out-of-print now. That same year, VCI Entertainment released another dubbed television series that was animated in Japan: the Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs dub of the Star Musketeer Bismarck robot action anime.
