Singaporean events organizer Sozo Pte. Ltd. announced on Tuesday that its AFA Creators Super Fest event in Singapore will host idol and voice actress Sally Amaki as a guest.

Amaki is a member of the 22/7 idol group, which debuted and announced an anime project in 2017. The group began releasing animated music videos in 2017, and their first character videos debuted in English in May 2018. Amaki voices the in-story character Sakura Fujima in the group, a role which she reprised in the 22/7 anime in 2020. Amaki also performs the motion capture for the character for streams. Amaki is well-known for her fluency in both Japanese and English, and she switches between both freely during streams, events, and on social media. Her fluency in both languages allowed her to voice the character Carol Olston in the Tomo-chan Is a Girl! anime in both the Japanese and English dubs.

Amaki voiced the character Betsy in the fourth episode of the Kaguya-sama: Love is War television anime as her anime voice acting debut. She also voiced the character Akubi in the Pandora to Akubi anime film. She has also voiced the character Kathrina Griebel in Stella of the Theater: World Dai Star, and Akari Suzumura in Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night.

The AFA Creators Super Fest event will take place at the Singapore Expo Hall 3 on July 27 to 28. The AFA Creators Super Fest takes after the Creator's Hub section of Sozo's anime convention Anime Festival Asia (AFA). Local and regional creators are able to set up booths and sell independently-produced merchandise, and the event also features a cosplaying area. Creators are able to attend guest panels aimed at spreading techniques for illustrators, cosplayers, photographers, and other creative disciplines. The event also has a gaming and music performance section.
