Tata Play Launches 'Anime Local' Service in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam

The Tata Play (formerly Tata Sky) television service launched its first platform service for anime content on Tuesday. The "Anime Local" service is available in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.

Some notable launch titles for the service include:

Tata Play is launching the add-on service with Sony Yay and Culver Max Entertainment.

The Tata Sky Binge content curation service added KC Global Media's Animax as an OTT (over-the-top) platform in India on March 4. The service launched in June 2021.
