Pop-Up Animate Store Will Open in London From October

Animate Ltd,, which operates anime retail stores in Japan and other countries selling anime products, has announced in a press release that it will open a pop-up store in London from late October, under Waterloo Station. The store will be located beneath platforms 20-24, in the area called The Sidings.

According to the press release, the London pop-up store will be open from late October until the end of 2025.

Animate Ltd's Japanese stores include one in the Tokyo district of Ikebukuro, which was certified by Guinness World Record in March 2024 as the world's largest anime shop/store.

The company also has stores in countries including China, Taiwan, Thailand, South Korea and California, but this will be the first time that an Animate store has appeared in the UK.
