Shinchosha's Kurage Bunch website announced on Friday that writer Miri Mikawa and artist Kairi Shimotsuki will launch a new manga titled Ryū no Kuni Gensō (Dragon Country Fantasy) on November 24.

The manga is set in Ryū no Hara (Dragon Plains), a realm that safeguards the slumber of dragons. Here, women who cannot hear the dragons' voices are despised as "Yūshi" or wanderers. But, men who can hear the dragons' voices are also detested. Hiori, whose older sister was killed as a "Yūshi," is bent on avenging her sister and rewriting the country's laws. To achieve her goals, she disguises herself as a man, heads to the imperial throne, marries Haruhana, the former emperor's daughter who also holds a great secret.
Mikawa and aki launched the original Sugar Apple Fairy Tale light novel series in April 2010, and ended it in the 17th volume in February 2015. The original novel series received a new collector's edition for the first three volumes, which shipped in December 2022, February 2023, and March 2023. Yen Press has licensed both the original light novel series and Yozora no Udon's manga adaptation. The novel series inspired a two-cours (quarter of a year) anime in 2023.
Shimotsuki's Brave10 manga inspired a television anime in 2012, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. NIS America released a Blu-ray Disc box of Brave10 in 2013.
Shimotsuki ended the Arthur Bright manga with its fourth volume, which shipped in June 2019. Shimotsuki launched the manga in Tokuma Shoten's Comic Zenon magazine in May 2017.
Shimotsuki ended the Sabiiro no Armor: Reimei (Rusted Armors: Dawn) manga in May 2022. The manga launched in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Gene magazine in May 2021.
