June 10th –Today, the Anime Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky (based on the novel by Nanigashi Shima, published by GA Bunko/SB Creative) unveiled its 3rd Trailer featuring the opening theme song ahead of its July 2026 premiere.

The original novel, winner of the Grand Prize at the 15th GA Bunko Awards, is a pure love story depicting the budding romance between Kakeru Sorano, a shy university student, and Koharu Fuyutsuki, a blind heroine. The series has received high praise for its delicate psychological descriptions and heart-moving story, ranking #3 in the General New Titles category of Takarajimasha's Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! 2024 (lit. This Light Novel is Amazing)! A live-action show adaptation also began airing last December in Japan.

The Anime is produced by MAKARIA (The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows) and directed by Joe Yoshizaki (Director of The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows), with series composition written by Yūko Kakihara (Script of The Apothecary Diaries).

The voice cast features Miyu Irino (Shoya Ishida from A Silent Voice, Koshi Sugawara from Haikyu!!) as Kakeru Sorano, and Saori Hayami (Shinobu Kocho of Demon Slayer, Yor Forger of SPY×FAMILY) as Koharu Fuyutsuki, alongside Konomi Kohara and Yōhei Azakami.

3rd Trailer
The newly released trailer focuses on the heroine, Koharu Fuyutsuki, as seen through the eyes of the protagonist, Kakeru Sorano. It beautifully showcases the gentle and translucent atmosphere of the series, marking the beginning of their story together.

Music Information
It has also been announced that renowned Japanese singer-songwriter Motohiro Hata will perform the opening theme song, titled “Hitohira." The track is previewed in the 3rd Trailer released today. Gently embracing "unseen feelings," Hata's uniquely delicate vocals and melody beautifully elevate and accentuate the expressive worldview of the series.

Artist Comments
・Comment by Motohiro Hata (Opening Theme Artist)
“Hitohira” is a piece I composed with the image of weaving together fragments of summer, letting ephemeral light and wishes rise to the surface. I hope you enjoy it along with the anime.

Novel ga Sugoi! 2024* (This Light Novel is Amazing!)

One spring night, Kakeru Sorano, a university freshman, is dragged by his dormmate Narumi to a welcome party. There, he meets Koharu Fuyutsuki, a blind girl who laughs often and speaks of her dreams; she's practically the polar opposite of him. From the moment he picks up her white cane after class, the distance between them begins to shrink. “I want to see fireworks,” she says one day. Those words carry a light that Kakeru gazes at directly for the first time. A girl who cannot see and a boy who has shut himself off—this is a delicate love story woven by two people searching for light.
