"Chaos Zero Nightmare" Updates with Galactic Disaster Season 3 Story, "Starry Night"

New “Jukebox” system introduced, allowing players to freely enjoy over 60 tracks included in Chaos Zero Nightmare

Santa Monica, CA - June 18, 2026 - Smilegate announced on Wednesday, the 17th, that Chaos Zero Nightmare (CZN), the dark fantasy roguelike RPG developed by Super Creative and published by Smilegate, has been updated with “Starry Night,” the new story for Galactic Disaster Season 3.

“Starry Night” is the third chapter of the Season 3 storyline. Centered around Tenebria, the galaxy's greatest idol, a major incident unfolds, drawing the protagonist (the Captain) and the crew aboard the SS Nightmare into a battle that will determine the fate of another vessel, the SS Edenity. Players can experience the new story and Chaos content to earn special currency, which can be exchanged for “Core” items that allow Save Data editing, as well as Signal Amplification Anchors and various growth materials.

The protagonist of the new story, Tenebria, has been added as a new Combatant. A Psionic-class Combatant of the Passion attribute, she excels at dealing powerful damage by consuming allied basic attack cards and using cards with the “Rhythm” keyword to trigger chain attacks. Her Partner Aria, released alongside her, increases the assigned Combatant's Attack and Critical Damage when equipped to a Psionic class Combatant.

A new system, the Jukebox, has also been added. Accessible from the lobby, the Jukebox allows players to freely listen to over 60 tracks featured in Chaos Zero Nightmare.

Smilegate is also running various events to celebrate the update. First, from today until July 29, players can enjoy a rhythm game-style event themed around sharing the concert stage with Tenebria and Aria. By playing the rhythm game and completing achievements, players can earn various rewards through the exchange shop. Additionally, the “Tenebria Exclusive Coverage” event will reward players with Crystals, Core items, and growth materials for completing daily missions that unlock through gameplay. Other events, including a Check-in Event and a double Memory Fragment rewards event, will also be available.
