Seven Seas Licenses 'Nighthawk, Once Again' Manga Series

(October 28, 2026) — Seven Seas Entertainment is thrilled to announce the license acquisition of the manga series Nighthawk, Once Again by Fuyuki Izumida. She was once the legendary hitman Nighthawk. But eight years into her retirement, she's unrecognizable! Living in a pigsty, drinking and smoking her days away, she's become a washed up has-been whose careless ways have left her in a financial bind. Can she return to the field, or has she lost her touch?

Nighthawk was a hitman who left even the most evil of men shaking in their boots at just the mention of their name. But it's been eight years since the last hunt, and Nighthawk remains in the shadows. Well, not exactly the shadows. Nighthawk is now retired, living on her own in a pigsty apartment, spending every last bit of money on gambling and gacha games. She's far from the fearsome figure she used to be and is more of a NEET than a stone-cold killer! But with eviction on the horizon and barely any yen left, Nighthawk will have to make her return. Can this current female failure go back to being the deadly killer of legend, or has retirement turned her into someone useless?

Nighthawk, Once Again Vol. 1 will be printed for the first time in the English language in October 2027 for $13.99 USA / $18.99 CAN, with the series available in single volume editions. Ebook editions will also be available on digital platforms.
