Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World U.K. Blu-ray Released on Monday

On Monday June 24, Crunchyroll will release Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement on Blu-ray. Crunchyroll described the series:

"Mitsuha is an 18-year-old girl who's often mistaken for a middle schooler due to her childlike face and small stature. The story begins when she loses her parents and her older brother at the same time in an accident and ends up all alone in the world. She fails her university entrance exams due to the shock of losing her family. There are people who are after her parents' insurance money. She doesn't know whether she should go to college or start working. There are also lots of expenses to worry about, including living expenses and the cost of maintaining the house.

"One day, as she worries about how she'll survive, she's given the World Jumping ability by a mysterious being that allows her to go back and forth between “this world” and an “isekai.” Now that she has this ability, she comes up with a plan for the future in which she saves 1 billion yen in each world for a total of 2 billion yen (80,000 gold coins). This is a plan for a girl with no one to rely on to live a peaceful, stable retired life in the future."

Hiroshi Tamada (Macross Delta episode director) directed the anime at Felix Film. Akihiko Inari (Chōyū Sekai: Being the Reality) was in charge of series scripts. Yūki Fukuchi (Plunderer) designed the characters for animation.

Crunchyroll is also releasing My Home Hero on Blu-ray. The manga centers on a salaryman who has a reliable wife and a daughter in university who can sometimes act a bit rebellious, but has a happy life in his own way. Until one day he finds out his daughter has been beaten, and thus begins his journey into a dangerous world to protect his family.

Takashi Kamei (Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy - Earthrise chief director) directed the anime at Tezuka Productions. Kohei Kiyasu (Run with the Wind) wrote and supervised the series' scripts. Masatsune Noguchi (Hakushon Daimaō 2020) designed the characters. Yukio Abe was the art designer. Kenji Kawai (Patlabor, Gundam 00, Ghost in the Shell) composed the music.

Crunchyroll will also release the second volume of Blue Lock on Blu-ray and DVD, including episodes 13 to 24.

Anime Limited will release the 24-part series Rental Magica on Blu-ray. First broadcast in 2007, the series was described by Right Stuf and Nozomi Entertainment as follows:

"Destroying supernatural monsters… dispelling dark magic… It's all in a day's work for the mages of Astral! However, after the mysterious disappearance of the company president, they're left in a lurch. His son, Itsuki Iba, begrudgingly fills in, but Itsuki's unfamiliarity with magic could spell bad news for Astral – especially with their rival Goetia vying for the very same contracts. As the jobs grow ever more dangerous, they soon find that staying in business is the least of their worries."

On Monday June 24, Anime Limited will also release a standard Blu-ray of Kaiji -Ultimate Survivor-.
