Sho Yamazaki Launches New Manga with Fuyu Aoki

The official X (formerly Twitter) account for Kodansha's Magazine Pocket platform announced on Friday that Sho Yamazaki will launch a manga with writer Fuyu Aoki titled Shuran Reijō no Yarakashi: Seiryaku Kekkonmae Yakesake, Ki ga Tsuku to Reikokuna Konyakusha to Dragon no Hate no Naka (The Violent Drunken Noblewoman's Screw-up: Drowning in Alcohol Before My Political Marriage, I Then Awoke in The Middle of a Dragon's Den with My Cold-Hearted Fiancé) on the platform on October 30.
The story follows Arwina, whose extremely adorable younger sister Lorelai draws the attention of every young man. Just when Arwina finally makes a match who is seemingly immune to Lorelai, her fiancé calls off the marriage on the night of her 21st birthday. She heads to the bar to drink her feelings away in a drunken rampage, only to awaken the next day in bed with an unknown man.
Yamazaki launched the Taro Miyao Becomes A Cat Parent?! (Miyaō Tarō ga Neko o Kau Nante) manga on the Shonen Jump+ manga service in May 2024. Shueisha shipped the fourth compiled book volume in June 2025.
Yamazaki launched the Excuse me dentist, it's touching me! (Haisha-san, Atattemasu!) manga on Shonen Jump+ in May 2020, and ended it in January 2023. MANGA Plus began publishing the manga in English in August 2020.
Aoki and artist Virginia Nitōhei launched the Shōnin Reijō Agnes: Henkyō ni Tsuihōsareta Akuyaku Reijō wa Shōsai wo Hakkishi Nariagaru (Merchant's Daughter Agnes: The Villainess Banished to a Remote District Rises to Success Through Her Business Skills) manga in Shueisha's Grand Jump magazine in November 2025. Shueisha shipped the second compiled book volume on September 17.
Aoki launched the Safe & Sound in the Arms of an Elite Knight (Doinaka no Hakugai Reijō wa Ōto Elite Kishi ni Dekiai Sareru) light novel series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in June 2022. Drecom started publishing the novels with illustrations by Minori Aritani in December 2022, and the series ended in its third volume in November 2023. J-Novel Club publishes both the original novel and Yuyu Kouhara's manga adaptation in English.
