Sora Karin, Kentaro Harada Launch The Pit of Darkness Manga

Sora Karin and Kentarō Harada launched a new manga titled The Pit of Darkness (Yami Sute Ana) in Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ service on Saturday. MANGA Plus is publishing the manga in English simultaneously. Karin is writing the story, while Harada draws the art.

MANGA Plus describes the manga:

“The Pit of Darkness”—an empty void that wipes anything thrown into it off the face of the Earth. Kasuga, a boy often taken advantage of by his peers for his diligent nature, happens upon a huge, bottomless pit during a field trip cleaning with his class. After accidentally dropping "something" inside, he realizes the pit possesses a strange power to... distort reality?!

Karin and Harada previously collaborated on the Enkan no Emotions manga, which was serialized in Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump website from November 2024 to January 30 earlier this year. Shueisha released the manga's fifth and final compiled book volume on March 18.

Karin and Merou Meiji's The Archangel of Death (Dantō no Archange) manga was serialized in Coamix's Comic Tatan website from March 2022 to November 2023. Coamix released five volumes for the manga. MangaPlaza releases the manga in English.

Harada and Mikumo Seto's Villain Actor launched in Coamix's Monthly Comic Zenon magazine in July 2022, and ended in October 2023. Coamix published three compiled book volumes for the manga. Titan Manga released all three volumes in English.
