Bakudo Action Game's Trailer Reveals Switch 2 Version, 2027 Release

Shueisha Games announced during the Japanese Nintendo Indie World Showcase on Wednesday that Sayil Games' Bakudo game will get a Nintendo Switch 2 version. The game will launch for both Switch 2 and PC via Steam in 2027. The company streamed a trailer:

The game's Steam page describes the story:

In BAKUDO, strength is everything.

Soliris Academy is the prestigious school where everyone chasing the title of top Corestriker comes to test themselves. Yuria arrives there following a lead on her missing father, but breaks the rules during her entrance exam to save a fellow examinee in danger, and her admission is revoked on the spot.

That's when Aria appears, the strongest student at Soliris Academy and the one who stands atop its ranked Stellar Eight. She hands Yuria an ultimatum: defeat the Stellar Eight within ten days, or leave the academy for good.

With her partner Evie at her side, Yuria races to meet that challenge. But behind the academy's glittering reputation lies a secret that could decide the fate of the world.

The sci-fi action game centers on battles in which players throw balls as part of combat.
