Kengo Abe to Be Guest at Otakon 2026
WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 9, 2026) – Kengo Abe will be a guest at Otakon 2026, according to Otakorp Inc. He is a film producer at Bandai Namco Filmworks.
Abe worked on franchises including “Mobile Suit Gundam,” “Space Battleship Yamato,” and “Armored Trooper VOTOMS.” In addition, Abe served as a producer on “Ghost in the Shell Arise” (2013–2014), “Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045” (2020–2023), and “THE GHOST IN THE SHELL” (2026).
ABOUT OTAKON AND OTAKORP, INC.: Now entering its thirty-second year, Otakon is an annual celebration of Japanese and East Asian popular culture, and also one of the largest gatherings of fans in the United States.
