For uncensored porn with the barest whiff of plot, you can always count on Manta Comics to deliver the goods. Step on Me, My Prince! is an X-rated BL take on the Cinderella story, featuring a particularly kinky couple. Unfettered by social norms or realistic human behavior, this couple gets together quickly for scene after scene of erotic escapades involving role play, love hotels, handcuffs, and BDSM fun. For such a spicy premise, the art is as vanilla as it gets, with chiseled, Disney-princelike faces and smooth, hairless bodies. BL fans looking for hardcore action at the expense of a coherent story will enjoy this junk-food-like manhwa.

Hanseol is a kindergarten teacher who works at a school shaped like a fairytale palace, and the metaphor isn't even a little bit subtle. In short, Hanseol would rather be a house husband, and he's searching for his perfect prince. Conveniently, Mr. Right is a lot closer than he thinks! Enter Yushin, the handsome and successful single father of one of his adorable students. Hanseol can barely function when Yushin's around, but apparently the man is into ineptitude because he asks Hanseol out during pickup after just one chapter. Yushin is every bit as charming on a date, but he's got a secret. On the way to the bathroom, Hanseol overhears Yushin taking a work call, and the man is a ruthless, verbally abusive boss. Most people would call this a red flag, but Hanseol calls it red hot! Within five chapters, they're both naked, using alcohol to speed-run past most of the usual steps, and you can guess what happens next.

In the fanfiction world, a scenario like this would be tagged as PWP, which stands for Plot? What Plot? Or sometimes Porn Without Plot. It's The Author's Blatantly Broadcasted Fetish, which in this case is for smooth, traditionally handsome, circumcised men in sexual situations in which one of them is mean to the other one. You're not meant to take Yushin's verbal abuse seriously (his employees certainly treat it like a joke) because it's just fetish material. There's no reason to worry about concerns like consent during a drunken encounter when Yushin mistakenly believes he's actually in a really sexy office and Hanseol is his newest employee, because the premise is too absurd to reflect reality. There are hints of humor here and there (when Hanseol gets an awkward boner, it is depicted with an open-mouthed cartoon smile), but let's be clear: there's only one reason we're reading this one, folks. It's porn, no more and no less.

I was going to start this with “Cinderella has never been so kinky,” but then I realized that fifteen million porn stories have probably been done with Cinderella, so instead I just say that Step on Me, My Prince is a cute, sexy, slightly kinky Cinderella story.

Hansol is an adorable poor boy; Yushin is the handsome prince; both of them are kind, incapable of just discussing their shared kink, which is mostly “are we going to be seen in public,” with a little light BDSM in the bedroom.

Yushin seems like a decent enough guy. He's a loving daddy to his daughter. His main quirk is to be demanding of his subordinates at work. Hansol, the clubbable baby seal he has, finds Yushin's demanding and critical side so hot he can't really control himself or the appearance of his penis—an appendage of which we get regular closeups. And so does Yushin. Honestly, Hansol's puppy quality actually serves him well. His dick popping out all the time is a tad silly, but it's not played for laughs at all, but as a tease for Yushin. The art is clean, mostly sexy in the right places. Both story and art over-emphasize Hansol's awkward embarrassment slightly too often, but I also read this as a chunk of chapters instead of weekly as a serial. One chapter at a time would serve this comic well.

They clearly are a good couple, and their kink hurts no one. For all Yushin's talk, he's mostly talk. Hansol's so awkward you can only kind of love him. I can't see any reason to not root for them to get together and live happily ever after.

If I was looking for a low-commitment entry point to light BL BDSM, I'd suggest this comic, if only because no one's getting hurt, either physically or emotionally. And doesn't want a Cinderella character to be able to find his Prince after a lifetime of poverty and drudgery?
