Global MapleStory Opens Sign-Ups for MapleStory Classic World Closed Online Test #2

LOS ANGELES – July 16, 2026 – Today, Nexon America opened registration for Global MapleStory Classic World Closed Online Test #2, giving players another opportunity to experience a modernized take on the original MapleStory ahead of launch. Running August 4–12, the upcoming test builds on player feedback from the first closed test and introduces additional content, platform support, and gameplay improvements.

Global MapleStory Classic World brings back the original MapleStory experience while introducing gameplay improvements, balance updates, and quality-of-life changes. Closed Online Test #2 adds 3rd Job Advancement, Ossyria, including Orbis and El Nath, controller support with customizable layouts, macOS support, and multiple language options.

Players can register now through Wednesday, July 29 by completing the sign-up form on the MapleStory website here. Participants will receive access instructions via email ahead of the test, with no beta key required. All players, including those who participated in the first Closed Online Test, must register again to be considered.

Those who take part in the test can also earn exclusive in-game rewards by completing event milestones. Players who complete the required quests across both Closed Online Tests will unlock Classic Beginnings Label Rings and Chat Rings to claim when Global MapleStory Classic World officially launches.
