Shogo Sakata to Be Otakon 2026 Guest

WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 10, 2026) Shōgo Sakata, a Japanese voice actor, will be a guest at Otakon 2026, according to Otakorp Inc. He will appear in the upcoming sequel to "TOUGEN ANKI."

Sakata is from Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. Since his debut, he has appeared in numerous anime productions. In October 2022, he gained international popularity for his leading role as Aki Hayakawa in the anime "Chainsaw Man."

In 2025, he portrayed Ikari Yaoroshi, a classmate of protagonist Shiki Ichinose at Rasetsu Academy, in "TOUGEN ANKI." The highly anticipated sequel, "Tougen Anki: Nikko Kegon Falls Arc," is set to premiere in October 2026.

His notable works include the "TOUGEN ANKI" series, in which he portrays Ikari Yaoroshi; "Chainsaw Man" (as Aki Hayakawa); "You and I Are Polar Opposites" (as Yusuke Tani); "Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle" (as Saku Chitose); "My Awkward Senpai" (as Yu Kamegawa); and "Kusunoki's Garden of Gods" (as Minato Kusunoki), among others.
