Written by SCA-DI, the acclaimed creator of Wonderful Everyday, Sakura no Uta explores the themes of “syllables and melodies” and “living happily”. Featuring beautiful artwork, now renewed and recolored in full 1080p HD, this celebrated visual novel will soon be available in English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese for the first time.

INTRO
It is springtime, and Naoya Kusanagi has just been orphaned by the death of his father (the world-famous painter). He moves in with his best friend Kei's family, where he grows closer to his homeroom teacher Ai and to Kei's younger sister, the actress Shizuku Natsume.
As the new semester arrives, his childhood friend Rin Misakura, who had transferred to a different school long ago, returns to his life as well.
A gust stirs up a swirl of sakura petals—with a promised reunion in its wake.
Feelings grow fonder to time's constant drumbeat, and the torrent of emotion begins to take shape—but where will it lead?
Sakura no Uta is a story of those whose paths stop short—and of those who walk on.

Rin Misakura

Naoya Kusanagi's childhood friend has returned to the town of Yumihari after years away.
She is highly quick-witted and eminently adaptable. With the test scores to match, she would seem to be perfect if not for a few inexplicable failings. For example, the girl cannot ride a swing.
She is a member of the art club at Yumihari Academy.
Shizuku Natsume
Voice: Yayoi Hayase
The younger daughter of the Natsume family.
Quiet and emotionally unexpressive, she appears unapproachable, but shows a childish affection towards Rin and a certain fondness for Naoya.
She performs as an actress under the stage name of Kusuka Kusanagi.
Ai Natsume
Voice: Natsu Sawada
The eldest daughter of the Natsume family. A teacher who also supervises the art club.
She gives lessons in literature at the school that Naoya and the others attend.
As events unfold, it becomes clear why she seems to obsess over defending the Natsume household in the absence of the siblings' parents.
Makoto Toritani
Voice: Nazuna Gogyō
A classmate of Naoya's.
Being the current president of the art club, her main objective is to keep the club alive.
Underneath her arrogant and audacious façade is an exceptionally caring and sensitive soul. Like a lioness protecting her cubs, she leads with bravado to keep her clubmates safe.
Rina Hikawa
Voice: Yuki Nekomura
A girl who has known Naoya since childhood and considers herself his little sister (in spirit).
For some reason, she seems to be an object of obsession for her classmate Yumi. Rina, however, is not a lesbian.
She's just a new student at Yumihari Academy with a few unfortunate quirks and a membership in the art club.
Yumi Kawachino
Voice: Don Oohana
A new student at Yumihari Academy.
A pure and innocent lily who likes women and hates men with a burning passion.
She is a member of the art club.

Naoya is a hot-blooded man who pretends to be quiet, stoic, and cool.
As the only son of the genius painter Kenichiro Kusanagi, he was treated as a child prodigy but has since sworn off of painting. After years in poverty, he is enjoying the less impoverished lifestyle of the Natsume house.
Kei Natsume
Voice: Shirou Fujikami
Naoya's best friend Kei is a lively and sociable boy who is often mistaken for a pretty girl.
After Naoya was left alone by his father's death, Kei invited him to move in with the Natsume family, and through a series of hijinks this came to pass.
Kei is very serious about art. He aims to become a world-class painter along with his friend Naoya, the two of them exceeding the genius of Kenichiro Kusanagi together.
